I'm Anthony Gallucci, a software developer working in finance in New York. I started out on the advisory side at Morgan Stanley and Merrill Lynch, moved into data engineering at a fintech startup, and eventually ended up at Hudson River Trading, where I've spent the last several years building trading infrastructure and now lead the global funding team. My work sits at the intersection of capital markets and software — a lot of Python, a lot of data, occasionally some HTML and CSS when I need a break from both.
This site is a reading log and a place to write about things I'm building or thinking through. No agenda beyond keeping a record I'll actually want to reread — a book I gave up on gets logged the same as one I loved.
